A study on the change of gender identity expressed in 20th century hair style

&nbsp;&nbsp;The Purpose of this paper is to analyze the change of gender identity in hair style since 20th century. The study was divided into two area. One of term is to investigate factors influencing the change of gender identity through analyzing of various literature research. The other is to examine historical studies about gender identity in hair style since 20th century.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The results are follows:<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;There are imposing changes in gender identity since 20th century owing to various factors; feminism, changing of sex roles, subculture, postmodernism, development of technology and mass production and consumption etc. Since the first change of gender identity in female hair style in 20&quot;s, divided stereotype of male and female sex roles. Expecially in the middle of 20th century, as radical changes were took place, gender identity changed fast more and more. These days there is no more fixed gender as genderless style.
