A Study on Hair Coloration of Personal Color - Focused on F. Birren"s Color Harmony Theory and the Application of Ostwalt and NCS System of Color Specification

  The coloration of white-gray-black has the continuity of brightness, showing a stable natural coloration. It has the effect of area contrast. With the coloration of tint-tone-black, it is possible to present a hair color design which is gorgeous, rich and of a sense of volume. White-tone-shade expresses a natural camaieu coloration, while the coloration of tint-tone-shade is fit for emphasizing elegant and modern images. Color-shade-black is a coloration by which a sense of depth and richness of hair color are outstanding. The coloration of white-tint-color is good for the coloration for both gradation and tone in tone which are not disharmonious. The coloration of color-white-black has the effect of making the face look smaller and gives a sense of volume with its deep tone. Tint, shade, tone and gray are also very harmonious hair coloration, showing the hair image in which moderation and elegance are emphasized. Regarding such a world of hair, which great masters such as Richard Thompson, Vidal Sassoon, Khamit Kinks and Martin Gannon attempted to express, when NCS and Ostwald system of color specification is accepted and Birren"s Color Harmony Theory and coloration are applied, the harmonious beauty of hair color design looks much more beautiful. New visual expressions for color presentation which are fit for a personal image concept are shown as a huge stream which imprints the position and the role of a hair designer in the 21st century.
