A Study on The technique for Old Age Make-up - for Skeletal Structure -

&nbsp;&nbsp;Modern society is changing in many sides. Without exception in the world of all kinds of vocation, the fields which has stood aside in the indifference of the society or has given just slight influence to the industry may awaken the interest of people with social change and the change of the viewpoints of the public. Also, the specialty and realistic expression due to the development of technology in that field may concentrate people&quot;s attention. One of the fields which furthermore require the specialty owing to these development of technology could be mass media-using industry, that is, culture and art industry which appeals to human&quot;s emotion.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Interest in makeup is rapidly increasing year by year, which is demonstrated by newly established relating departments in junior colleges and universities and the rapid increase of applicants in beauty industry and makeup field. Especially, the explosive growth of culture and art field such as advertisement, films, visual industry, and the likes got to require the specialty of makeup design, and really need realistic and natural expression with the introduction of digital broadcasting.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Makeup is a technique to effectively transmit the meaning, of which impression has great difference by makeup designer. Thus, it is the field needing ceaseless change and study.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of the study is to work on, based on the beauty makeup out of the makeup expression technique in varying situation, the expression technique for actual aging makeup, the most used makeup, and to seek after the development of makeup design which requires more specialty. The paper investigated the characteristics of the aging by dividing into two kinds of aging in order to give realistic effect of aging makeup; the aging by the change of skeletal structure of face and body, and the aging by environmental change(natural aging, light aging).<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Also, in the paper, getting out of the limitation of painting which has been most used in the expression technique so far, additives and its physical changes were applied. For the methods, painting, Latex-using technique, Latex and additives using technique, prosthesis makeup technique were suggested.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In introduction, the 1st section of the paper, the purpose and the methods of the study were presented, and in the 2nd section, the basic theory and the notion of aging were explained, and the difference of natural aging and light aging by the skeletal structure of face were examined. In the 3rd section, based on the features of skeletal structure, a methodology for realistic expression was suggested. In the 4th section, as the conclusion, the effects by expression technique was presented with materials.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The paper was intended to serve the development of more professional makeup design for aging makeup by suggesting proper and realistic expression technique to situation(theater, TV, films).
