A Research of Hairdressers" Personality Type by Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI)

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study was to investigate type of the hairdresser using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI). A target group sets forth one hundred thirty nine (139) hairdressers in Seoul.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In accordance with a survey done to the above group, their personality type was identified as follows:<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;？ Extraversion 72.2% vs. Introversion 27.3%,<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;？ Sensing 56.8% vs. Intuition 43.2%,<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;？ Feeling 66.9% vs. Thinking 33.1%, and<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;？ Perceiving 59% vs. Judging 41%<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Assessing from the result, hairdressers&quot; personality type showed differences from general Korean&quot;s personality type. More specifically, they are prone to extraversion and sensing, which could be understood as their typical personality type.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Secondly hairdressers mainly demonstrated ESIP, ESFJ, ENFJ, ESFP, and ENFP in order, but INTP, INTJ, ENTJ, INFP, and INFJ were in low extent. Therefore typical characteristics of hairdressers stem from their lively, straightforward, and reality centered personality.
