A Study on Metal Contents in Facial Masks Treatment

&nbsp;&nbsp;Skin is an organ that covers the human body and it plays a very important role of protecting the body. Also with functions such as absorption, discharge, defense, temperature control, and sensibility, skin maintains very intimate relationship with the exterior environment. Recently, demands for special pack cosmetic products that unite manual methods and various cosmetic tools are increasing.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In today&quot;s reality where a lot of imported and domestic cosmetic products are provided to consumers, there are not enough studies on metal contents in mask products for facial skin care, and correlation and effect of absorption and discharge of harmful materials in skin. And there should be more studies on the effect of reduction of harmful materials through skin control. still there is not enough basic study on effect on skin control in Korea and there is no record of study on metal contents in facial packs such as mineral and colagen. Therefore, there should be more studies on the matter.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Therefore, this study collected colagen velvet masks and mineral masks used by dermatologists in order to analyze 15 metal contents such as Ca, Mg, Zn, Al, Mn, Cu, Fe, Se, Cr, Pb, Hg, As, Cd, Na, and K. The study presented possibility of absorption and discharge of harmful metal contents to propose the usefulness of cosmetic packs.
