A study on the content of heavymetals in hair of Iksan area residents

&nbsp;&nbsp;In order to know the concentration of heavy metals in hair, the hair were sampled from during the period from August 2000 through April 2000.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;the heavy metal contents of these samples were analysed by atomic absorption spectrophotometer.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;1. the contents of Pb, Cd, T-Cr, Cu and Zn in hairs collected from lksan area residents were 9.05~15.02㎎/㎏, 0.27~0.37㎎/㎏, 10.43~12.97㎎/㎏, 5.52~7.83㎎/㎏ and 148.57~170.75㎎/㎏ respectively.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;2. the content levels of heavy metals such as Cd, Pb, T-Cr, Cu and Zn in hairs were remarkably indicated high values at the lksan industrial park area residents.
