Most of all, it(this paper) zeros in on pursuing various beauty through a broad variation of tint and an absence of using tints.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This paper will focus on beauty and fashion make-up, which are regarded as essence in make-up. And it deals with so-called make-up image which is created by trying different hues. And only make-up-for-correction patterns and tint effect which is applied on parts of face will be handled in this paper. And the focus is given to popular make-up color and pattern in the 20th century in a bid to emphasize the importance of tint in the make-up.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;For this study, at first I looked into historical documents related to fashion, tints, complexion and human body. And other magazines and photographs regarding fashions and make-up are introduced in this papers.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The result of this study in tint effect and expression technique can boil down to as follows.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, the full understanding of three essential elements for coloring-tint, brightness, and contrast can maximize the effect of make up. Brightness and Contrast help the correction of face shape, And they make eyes and lips look <BR>more distinguishable.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, the symbolic image of color and tint can give many variations to make-up. And according to these tints-vivid, strong, bright, pale, very pale, light grayish, light, grayish, dull, deep. dark, very grayish, various partners are applied to make-up.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, in terms of matching fashion and make-up, the most important thing is a harmonious color use. In other words, make-up has had very close relationship. Just a simple effort to match make-up with clothes color can generate vary beautiful and sophisticated image. This will without fail let a woman get confidence in herself.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Fourth, looking over the 20th-fashion history, we can find the then popular make-up color and fashion pattern reflecting the then society and cultural environments. In a short, make-up color and fashion pattern can be used as a way to express a person&quot;s internal beauty. The harmonious combination of silhouette and make-up color has created new fashionable color. Even it represents a woman&quot;s social status and her value in a society.
