성격차원 하위요인들과 범죄행동과의 상관연구

A Study on the Correlation between Criminal Behavior and Personality Traits

&nbsp;&nbsp;인간의 모든 행동은 개인의 성격과 주위환경과의 상호작용 결과의 산물임을 뜻한다. 인간의 모든 행동이 그렇듯이 인간의 범죄행동도 개인과 환경이 상호작용 한 결과로 보고, 지금까지는 범죄행동의 발생원인에 대해 사회·문화적 요인들을 많이 지적해 왔다. 그러나 범죄행동을 사회 환경적 요인들에게만 귀인 시킬 수는 없다고 본다. 이렇게 보는 이유는 사회문화적 환경이 전반적으로 개선되고 있음에도 불구하고 범죄 발생율은 감소하지 않고 오히려 점점 더 증가하고 있기 때문이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;따라서 이 연구에서는 지금까지 국내·외 학자들의 선행연구 결과를 고찰한 것을 근거로, 성격차원 하위요인들을 분석하여 범죄행동과의 상관을 밝히려는데 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위한 구체적인 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체적인 성격차원에서 범죄집단과 비교집단간에 차이가 있을 것이다. 둘째, 성격차원 하위요인들인 정신병적 경향성, 범죄성, 충동성 그리고 모험성에서 두 집단간에 차이가 있을 것이다. 셋째, 전체적인 성격차원에서 두 집단간에 상호상관이 있을 것이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;이와 같이 제시된 가설로 성격차원 하위요인들과 범죄행동의 상관을 밝히기 위해 양적 방법에 의한 연구를 실시하였다. 또한 수집된 자료처리는 통계치의 차이를 검증하기 위해 t-test를, 각 하위변인들의 상호상관을 알아보기 위해 상관계수를 산출, 분석, 해석하였다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;This Study aims to find out the correlation between personality traits and Criminal behavior. Subjects in this Study are 49 prisoners(male) and 49 non-offender comparative subjects(male). Korean-Version Eysenck Personality Questionnaires by Hyun-Soo Lee(2004) were administered to two groups respectively. Procedures for Processing data were used t-test and sought the correlation Coefficient of two groups.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;On the basis of the results and discussion, it could be concluded that;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, There are significant differences in two groups between Lie scale and Addiction scale and, especially psychoticism scale as a whole.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, There are significant differences between psychoticism scale and Criminality scale, but no differences between Impulsiveness scale and Venturesomeness scale in two groupe.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, There are differences in some scale or no in another scale between two groups as psychoticism, Extraversion-introversion, Neuroticism, Lie, Addiction, Criminality, Impulsiveness, Venturesomeness, and Empathy.
