&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 최근 기업실무뿐 아니라 공공부문에서 많은 관심을 끌고 있는 성과관리시스템인 BSC의 성공적인 정착을 위해 요구되는 컨설턴트로부터 BSC 도입 기업으로의 BSC 지식이전과 BSC 효과에 어떠한 요인들이 영향을 미치는지를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;연구를 위한 변수로는 지식이전 요인, BSC 지식이전 및 BSC 효과를 사용하였으며, 분석방법은 21개의 기업체와 정부투자기관으로부터 회수된 191부의 설문지를 활용하여 구조방정식모형에 의한 분석을 실시하였다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;분석결과, BSC 지식이전에는 컨설턴트 능력, 최고경영층 지원 및 구성원 참여와 지지가 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, BSC의 도입으로 얻게 되는 효과에는 BSC 지식이전과 지식이전 요인들 중 BSC 교육, 최고경영층 지원 및 컨설턴트/구성원 관계가 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;이러한 결과는 조직이 BSC를 효과적으로 정착시키는데 있어 최고경영층의 명확한 목표와 지원 아래 유능한 컨설턴트의 활용과 체계적인 교육으로 구성원들의 적극적인 참여와 지지를 유도할 필요가 있으며, 이를 통해 BSC에 대한 구성원들의 저항을 줄여 BSC가 하나의 조직문화로서 자연스럽게 정착되도록 하는 것이 중요함을 보여주는 것이다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The knowledge transfer of best practices is emerging as one of the most important and widespread issues in business management after the latter half of the 1990s. Recently many companies have introduced Balanced Scorecard(BSC) as a performance management system, and had attention to successful implementation. An essential aspect of successful implementation in BSC is the knowledge transfer of BSC from consultants that is the employees of different firms to the employees of firms that is going to introduce BSC.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The primary objective of this study is to examine the factors under which business and technical knowledge is transferred from consultants to clients in the context of BSC implementation and its effects.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study based on survey questionnaire data collected from 21 firms, and analyzed the relationships among independent variables such as consultant factor, relationship factor, and organizational factor, the degree of BSC knowledge transfer, and the effects of BSC.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The finding suggests that consultant ability, CEO support, and participation and support of employees influence on the transfer of knowledge in the context of BSC implementation. And the finding also shows that BSC knowledge transfer and knowledge transfer factors as BSC education, CEO support, and the relationship between consultants and employees influence on the BSC effects.
