The Miri had meant a king but the author made it an image of a monster that squeezed the people. And champion of revolution as he was, the Dragon existed by the sound of, "He has come, he has come, the Dragon has come!" in the text, but he actually did not exist. The Dragon was expressed as &quot;0&quot;. The absence of the Dragon showed the author&quot;s opinion that the self-awakening of nation should be needed before the popular revolution. It is a kind of literary metaphor. Even though Kotoku Shusui who had influenced Sin Chae-ho&quot;s Anarchism wrote a book about a dragon, his expression of a dragon was not better than Sin Chae-ho&quot;s.
