The characteristics of flotation of low-grade kaolin

저품위 고령토의 부선특성을 관찰하기 위하여 수파, 분쇄 및 부선 등의 변수들에 대하여 조사하였다. SiO₂, Al₂O₃ 및 CaO 함량이 각각 43.66%, 31.96%, 4.53%인 고령토 원광을 최적조건에서 부선 처리한 결과, SiO₂, Al₂O₃ 및 CaO 함량은 각각 46.37%, 36.39%, 1.77%이었으며, 이 때 88 ㎛ 통과분의 회수율은 86.2%이었다.
Flotation of low grade kaolin was investigated in terms of such variables as degritting, milling and flotation conditions. The results showed that low grade Kaolin was improved to 46.37% SiO₂, 36.39% Al₂O₃ and 1.77% CaO from the feed grade of 43.66% SiO₂, 31.96% Al₂O₃ and 4.53% CaO with 86.2% of recovery of the ground particles under 88ㆍ？m.
