유아의 부적절한 행동에 대한 유아교사의 지도방법과 어려움

A Study on Teachers" Difficulty and Implication of Teacher Training : disciplining children" misbehavior

  본 연구는 초임 유아교사와 경력 유아교사가 유아의 부적절한 행동을 지도하는 방법과 지도과정에서 겪게 되는 어려움을 알아보기 위하여, 초임과 경력 교사를 대상으로 6개월간 참여관찰하고 심층 면담하였다. 초임교사의 지도방법은 처음에 언어적 지도방법을 하다가, 언어적 지도방법이 수용되지 않으면 좀 더 강도 높은 비언어적 지도방법을 사용하였다. 경력교사는 지도방법의 종류를 변형시키거나 결합시켜 새로운 지도방법을 만들어서 사용하였다. 교사들은 유아 지도의 어려움, 교사로서의 어려움, 유치원 조직과 학부모와의 관계에서 오는 어려움을 겪고 있었으며, 경력에 따라 그 어려움의 정도나 종류가 달랐다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study is to discuss about discipline method and difficulty on children’s misbehavior. Participant observation and in-depth interview on teacher had been done for six months.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;When kim teacher did not direct children&quot;s misbehavior clearly in the beginning of the semester, there were difficulties on running a class as well as conflicts on teachers. In the end of the semester teachers realized that discipline method on children&quot;s misbehavior is very much needed for both teacher and children.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Lee teacher precisely disciplined children&quot;s misbehavior in the beginning of the semester, and disciplined for their adoption to elementary school. However children showed lack of self-confidence in the end of the semester and teachers reflected their methods.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Therefore, professional knowledge and guide on disciplining children’s misbehavior, and peer supervision and parent-teacher&quot;s partnership are necessary to accomplish fine teacher education.
