연쇄강간범의 범죄심리학적 특성

A Study on the Criminal Psychological Characteristics of Serial Rapists

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 연쇄강간범의 범죄심리학적 특성을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 이에 연쇄강간의 의의와 유형을 살펴보고, 연쇄강간범의 행동분석으로 범행동기를 추정하는 방법들을 기술하였다. 나아가 기 연구된 사례들의 범행동기를 분석함으로써 연쇄강간범의 특징들을 밝히고자 노력하였다. 본고를 통해 드러난 연쇄강간범들의 공통적인 특징들은 다섯 가지로 정리할 수 있다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;첫째, 연쇄강간범들은 발달론적 관점에서 전형적인 강력범들의 그것과 비슷한면이 많았다. 둘째, 연쇄강간범들은 조각난 정체성 증후와 비슷한 심리적인 문제들을 갖고 있는 경우가 많았다. 셋째, 낯선 사람들을 자신의 범행대상으로 삼는 경우가 많았다. 넷째, 연쇄강간범의 범행 동기는 매우 다양하나 피해자에 대한 조정·통제·지배와 같은 요소들이 범행 시에 비교적 뚜렷이 나타난다. 마지막으로, 연쇄강간범이 강간 후 피해자를 살해하면 연쇄살인범으로 분류되기 때문에 연쇄살인범과 연쇄강간범은 같은 특징들을 공유하는 경우가 많았다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this paper is to clear characteristics of serial rapists. To achieve this purpose, the writer examined definitions and types of serial rapists, and described methods to presume crime motive by serial rapist&quot;s action analysis. Furthermore, tried to clear serial rapist&quot;s characteristics analyzing crime motive of studied serial rape cases. Common characteristics of serial rapists can be arranged by five. First, serial rapists had much common points such as typical violent criminals in developmental psychological points. Second, serial rapists had psychological problems such as fractured identity syndrome. Third, many serial rapists make strangers to their crime target. Fourth, crime motives of serial rapists are very diverse. But, characteristics that appear at crime are mediation, domination and control about victims. Finally, if serial rapists kill their victims after rape, serial rapists are classified by serial murderers. Therefore, serial rapists and serial murderers have much common characteristics.
