우리나라 부유층의 기부 수준 영향요인에 관한 연구

Charitable Giving by the Wealthy in Korea

  본 연구는 우리나라 서울？수도권 지역에 거주하고 있는 부유층 128명을 대상으로 부유층의 기부 수준에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인들, 특히 기부 수준에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 환경적, 개인적 요인들을 중심으로 알아보았다. 분석결과 환경적 요인으로는 모임/종교단체를 통해 기부할 경우(+)가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 개인적 요인으로는 사회적 책임성 인지여부(-), 경제적 안정도 수준(+), 노력으로 이룬 재산(+), 시간기부경험여부(+), 현물기부경험여부(+) 등이 유의한 것으로 분석되었다. 기타 성별(-), 종교여부(+), 연평균소득(+)이 유의한 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 기부자의 역량, 기부자의 경험, 기부자 접근, 기부자 관리 측면에서 연구의 의의 및 시사점을 논의하였다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;This study focuses on the determinants of charitable giving of the wealthy in Korea. Sample of the 128 wealthy were gathered by using snowball sampling and analyzed by using multiple regression to predict the factors.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Results show that communities of participation(+), consciousness of social responsibility(-), giving goods(+), giving time(+), stability of discretionary resources(+), proportion of non inherit property(+), sex(-), religion(+), income(+) have significant effects to the degree of giving amount.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Based on investigations on giving behaviors and processes of donors and prospects, this study discusses the strategic directions for developing and improving the fundraising skills for the wealthy in Korea.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study suggests the new strategies to deal with the following needs more effectively for accomplishing newly emergent goal in Korea: the need for utilizing various giving options: utilizing individualized development strategies and providing customized benefits; the need for building philanthropic leading environments: the focus on donor trust and cause fundraising; the need of upgrading &amp; nurturing (potential) wealthy donors and giving culture in Korea.
