Problems on Application of Electronic Presentation after Establishing the eUCP

&nbsp;&nbsp;Over the past six or so years have been passed since the eUCP was became effective on March 31, 2002. The intention of the eUCP as a supplement to the UCP is to accommodate the presentation of electronic records alone or in combination with paper documents. Until now, electronic presentations under the eUCP are in the beginning stage.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In this paper, I examined the applications of the electronic presentation and their problems associated with using eUCP credit.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In order to vitalize eUCP credit transactions, it is necessary for parties to give careful consideration to following problems: the ability of the parties involved to create, send, receive, store and process electronic records; underlying contracts for using eUCP credit between banks and customers; the data format for each electronic record; means of authentication desired; how to notice of completeness.
