한국의 제3자 물류업체의 경쟁전략에 관한 연구

A Study on the Competition Strategies of Third Party Logistics Providers in Korea

&nbsp;&nbsp;Third Party Logistics(3PL) service, an advanced concept from the logistics outsourcing, is a logistics service performing whole or part of logistics in the supply chain through a specialized logistics companies.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In the rapidly changing environment of logistics field, 3PL providers have radically strengthened their competitive advantage and executed their competition strategies. Taking these accounts into considerations, the strategies of Korean logistics companies should be changed from the function of furnishing simple logistics to extending integrated logistics services. It should also shift its focus from executing domestic logistics to meeting international logistics demands.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study observed the competition strategies of 3PL providers in terms of firm&quot;s objective stratgies, 3PL success factors and a governmental policy.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;① The purpose of this study is to explore the competition strategies of third party logistics provider and to provide the competition strategies of them in Korea. These are as follows : ① a differentiation strategy of logistics service ② a diversification strategy of logistics service (including the globalization of logistics service) ③ a highly serviced logistics strategy through various logistics information system(such as value added logistics services and 4PL services) ④ a public logistics strategy by strategic alliance.
