The purpose of this article is to examine whether distinctive features approach strategies has some effects on children with auditory disorders. Three subjects were selected for this study. Subjects are pupils who have problems of auditory sense in a special school. Picture consonant articulation test, and deep test were used to prove the effect of treatment.<BR> The two speech pathologists who have the experience of more than one year in speech pathology participated in the pre-post evaluation. The reliability between the three pathologists including the research was 93 percentage.<BR> The results were as follows :<BR> The subjects who were treated by the distinctive feature approach therapy program with [±aspiration] features showed some improvements of articulation. Considering the effects of articulation improvement, the improvement of /C<SUP>h</SUP>/ sounds was higher than that of /c‘/sounds in target phoneme. Every subject showed the effects of articulation improvement in PACT(picture consonant articulation test) including target phoneme /C<SUP>h</SUP>/. Therefore the contrast of the [±aspiration] feature was effective.<BR> The results of this study show that this distinctive features approach strategies are effective for children with auditory disorders.
