A conception of effective prevention policy against DUI

&nbsp;&nbsp;Despite rigorous crackdown and strengthened punishment, tendency towards DUI and related accidents are still increasing. It is because the current prevention policy against DUI has been focussing solely on punishment without considering its hidden propensity and recidivism.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;therefore, we should introduce treatment programs for DUI recidivism and create a culture and a social atmosphere in which regulations of DUI punishment can take root in everybody&quot;s mind as a standard to deal with the low exposure rate of DUI. In addition, improvement and expansion of traffic safety systems will help decrease DUI rates and minimize the damage when accidents happen.
