우리나라 물류산업의 산업연관관계를 통해본 국민경제 기여도 분석 - 총수급 분해모형을 중심으로

A Study on the Korean Logistics Industry"s Contribution Ratio to the National Economy through the De -composition of the Aggregate Output Equation on the Base of Input-Output Analysis

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 물류산업이 산업연관관계를 통하여 국민경제에 미치는 효과를 투입산출표를 이용하여 계량적으로 분석하는 것이다. 이를 통해 물류산업이 국민경제에서 차지하는 위상을 비롯하여 그 중요성과 특성을 파악하고자 한다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;총수급 분해에 의하여 물류산업의 국민경제기여도를 살펴본 바에 의하면 수출과 수입이 가장 중심적인 역할을 하고 있다. 분석결과 부가가치 비중을 제외한 대부분의 지표에서 물류산업의 국민경제 비중이 2000년 이후 급격히 낮아지고 있다. 물류산업의 침체경향은 연평균증가율로 볼 경우에도 동일하게 나타나고 있다. 따라서 향후 물류산업의 활성화를 위해서는 우리나라 물류산업의 고부가가치화가 필요하다. 또한 고부가가치 물류기능을 수행할 수 있는 대규모 물류기업의 육성과 규제완화 등이 필요하다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The objective of this study is to figure out the importance of logistics industry through the input-output analysis to understand the exact position of the industry in Korean economy. In particular, this study examines the main influential factors on the growth of the logistics industry by the decomposition of aggregate supply and demand equations.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The major findings of this study are as follows. First, it is found that the ratio of the logistics industry to Korean economy is decreasing in the most indies except for the value-added ratio. This result shows that the logistics industry is becoming a rapidly recessionary industry with all the high potential. Second, the logistics industry&quot;s contribution ratio to the Korean economy measured by the decomposition of aggregate output is appeared to be comparatively higher than other industries. Among the major influential factors, logistics industry&quot;s final demand for export and import for intermediary goods play key roles on the growth of national economy.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In conclusion, demand for export has an important and major impact on the expansion of the output. Thus, for the sustainable development and growth of the logistics industry, it is required to promote the logistics-related hinterland or related high value-added distribution centers.
