A Study on the Sustainable Design Methods for Urban Landscape

&nbsp;&nbsp;To improve the quality of the people&quot;s life and make a pleasant urban environment, while preserving an outstanding environment, we need an effective management method for the natural environment of its outer ring and skyline landscape as well as the urban itself.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Cities consist of individual buildings and structures. For a beautiful urban environment, the residents of the urban should cooperate each other in considering environment of public buildings and facilities.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Environment is not a subject for unplanned development. It should be managed in a manner that both ensures sustainable creation and preservation are satisfied, and nature and people can coexist by considering both the present and future generations.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study examines how to design the landscape of cities, sites, buildings, afforestation？outside appearance, appendages and signs for development and preservation according to types of landscapes and design of a sustainable urban landscape.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;For effective creation and preservation, sustainable creative directions should be prepared, and environmentally-friendly development should be introduced, which will contribute to prevention of senseless damage of natural ecosystems and beautiful landscapes. The basic direction of general management for preservation and maintenance of landscape will be conceived in terms of landscape preservation and consistent use.
