The article touches upon the problem of the involvement of natural resources in the sphere of modern Russian Civil law"s regulation. It gives the characteristics of the main natural resources (land lots, forests, waters, depths, wildlife, atmospheric air) as the objects of property rights dwelling on the issues of correlation between their private and public images.
