대학생들의 교육경험 담론 분석 - 입시교육과 진로경험의 의미화를 중심으로

Analysis of college Students" Narratives about their Educational Experience - Focusing on the College Students" Signification of their Experience on the College Preparation and the College Entrance Examination -

  본 논문은 대학생들의 교육경험을 해석학적 패러다임에 입각한 질적 연구방법에 의해 심층분석한 것이다. 가정과 학교, 사회의 교육열풍속에서 ‘자녀교육성공’을 위한 부모들의 적극적 기획 하에 학교를 다니고 입시 관문을 통과한 대학생들이 자신의 입시교육경험을 어떻게 의미화하고 자신의 현재, 미래의 삶과 진로에 연결시켜내고 있는지를 분석하였다. 먼저 대학생들은 자신들의 지난 입시교육경험을 공부에 대한 부모의 강요와 기대, 성적을 둘러싼 학교와 친구들 사이의 경쟁적 분위기로 인해 ‘상처’, ‘억압’의 시간으로 정리하면서 부정적으로 의미화를 하는 경우가 지배적이었다. 또한 대학 졸업 후 ‘취업’과 ‘성공’에 대한 부모와 주변의 기대에 대한 부담과 불안을 자신들의 입시교육경험의 연장선에서 해석하고 있어 현재의 대학생활과 졸업 후 진로계획에도 의미 있는 영향을 미치고 있음을 드러내고 있다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;This paper is a qualitative study that analyzes educational experience of college students who were raised under their parents&quot; active &quot;planning&quot; for their educational success in the social context of heated &quot;educational fever.&quot; It adopts an interpretive paradigm. I explore how these college students interpret their educational experience for the college entrance examination, and further analyze how they relate this experience to their college education and their future lives beyond the college.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;College students attach negative meanings to their high school experience that was heavily dominated by the preparation for the college entrance examination. They regard it as a &quot;time of pressure and hurt&quot; due to the intense parental expectation and severe competition among students. They also interpret their parents&quot; intense desire and anxiety for them to succeed and to get good jobs in relation to their high school experience. This means that students&quot; high school experience is highly influential to their college experience and planning for their future jobs.
