요인분석을 통한 지역 기업 유치 요인에 관한 연구 - 강원도의 환경요인과 정책요인을 중심으로

An Empirical Study on the Factors Influencing Attraction of Corporate Investments: Focusing on the Environmental and Policy Factors of Gangwon Province

  21세기 지식경제시대에서 제조기업의 유치는 지역발전을 위해 매우 중요하다. 그러나 실증분석에 근거한 기업유치활성화 방안에 관한 연구는 많이 부족하다. 본 연구는 최근 제조업 비중이 급감한 강원도의 사례를 중심으로 기업유치활성화 전략과 정책을 살펴본다. 기존의 기업유치활성화 방안들에 대한 연구는 어떤 특정한 지역의 사례보다는 전반적인 정책에 초점을 맞추었기 때문에, 특정 지역 현실에 적합한 기업유치활성화 방안에 관한 연구는 상대적으로 많이 부족했다. 본 연구에서는 강원도 현실에 적합한 기업유치활성화 방안을 전문가 집단의 심층적인 인터뷰와 설문조사를 통한 실증분석을 토대로 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과, 강원도는 정책적 요인 및 환경적 요인 모두 중요한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 가장 중점적으로 고려해야할 부문으로서는 인력조달, 경영지원, 연구 인프라 구축 요인인 것으로 나타났다.

  This research aimed to establish and test an empirical model explaining the factors of attracting corporate investments. Gangwon Province was selected to test the proposed model since most of the studies regarding the attraction of corporate investments covered only general policy issues without paying enough attention to the differences in regional characteristics. In-depth interviews were conducted on the experts of the attraction of corporate investments. Surveys were used to collect the data used for this research. The data were analyzed using factor and regression analyses. The results showed that policy and environmental factors are important to attracting corporate investments. Of all the factors investigated, labor supply, management support, and R&D infrastructure turned out to be the most important. The environmental and policy implications of these results were explored.
