Competency Model for the Founder Entrepreneurs of Chinese Family Business and Its Cross sub-cultural Comparison

  This paper was aimed at constructing the competency model of the founder entrepreneurs of Chinese family business and clarifying possible differences among sub-culture. After Researches of both domestic and abroad on Chinese family business, entrepreneurs and competency were reviewed，through content and statistical analysis on fifty typical successful management and succession cases about Chinese famous family business collected，the competency model for the founder entrepreneurs of Chinese family business was developed. Finally, Cross sub-cultural Comparison on the competency items for the founder entrepreneurs of Chinese family business was done.
