A study on the Development of the Narrative Text Program for the Gifted

&nbsp;&nbsp;This study aims to develop the educational program in language part for the gifted children of the elementary school. It is the goal of this program to supplement the limitation of the school education by integrating different subject into this course, and to expand . Also with the course focused on the productive activity of the gifted children, this program could cultivate their qualifications needed as the leader.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The concrete object of this program is the 4th grade and the 6th grade of the elementary school. The 4th grade is fixed to level 1 and the 6th grade to level 2. The area of the program for the gifted children in language part is divided into three; comprehension, research, project. The main text that this program treated principally has the characteristic as follow; narrative texts that have the characteristic of the culture as well as media, narrative texts that have not only usual topic but also expansive theme to culture and media, and at the same time texts that the gifted children produced narratively, meta-texts that could be communicated with various pattern and include culture and media.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This program shows the course of teaching-learning concretely, the subject of level 1 is the greate man in our history and the subject of level 2 is the chemical change from cabbage to kim-chi.
