Femtosecond-laser micromachining of CsI(TI) film on glass is investigated using 150fs pulses at 775㎚ from a chirped-pulse-amplification Ti: sapphire laser operating at 3㎑ repetition rate. We investigate the effect of pulse energy, number of laser scans, and focal position on the depth and width morphology of the micromachined regions.
