UV레이저를 이용한 연성동박 적층필름 가공특성 연구

Characteristics of UV laser ablation of FCCL

  UV laser ablation is promising for the cutting of FPCB. However, it has such problems to address as surface debris and short circuit due to the photo-thermal effect. In this study, the laser cutting of FCCL was carried out with a picosecond and a nanosecond laser. We analyzed the thermal effect, surface debris, and cutting section. The results suggest that fast scanning speed, low repetition rate and high peak power should be required for the precision cutting. Also, the presence of low heat accumulation rate is an important factor for photochemical effect of FPCB materials.
