Soyakranjikgeomdo is a work originated from a historical fact of Hoemunsi of Soyankran, who is a wife of Dudo living in Bujin in China. It is about the conflicts between wives and painful separation of family members. The originality of this work is that this work deals with crisis of a couple and family, and eventually the crisis is solved by Jikgeumbo, which is a silk cloth that shows talents and wisdoms of a female main character, Soyakran. The summery of this study is as follows : First, the conflict of this work results from patriarchal husband's character. The husband. Duyeonpe is weak at temptation and depends on Confucius patriarchal ideas too much although he dose not take responsibility or duty as a head of the family and passes his gets passively. These characters of Duyeonpe works as original factors that cause conflictive situations of the work. Second in this work, active Soyakran and her silk cloths are the solutions of conflicts. Jikgeumdo, which is a writing material of this work. is a narrative factor and also shows the Soyakran's character clearly. Jikgeumdo plays a role in making Duyeonpe come back home by connecting the present and the past of Soyakran and Doyeonpe, and by realizing his faults. It also maximizes Soyakran's capability and charms. As a silk cloth that Soyakran weaves in person, Jikgeumdo is decorated with beautiful patterns and her poem on it. It is a proof of Soyakran's active and positive character as a leader to solve the conflict that she faces. In addition. Jikgeumdo is a medium that connects Soyakran and the society. When Soyakran tries to solve her own problems and famil's problems. Gikgeumdo becomes a way that she tells her story to the society. Third, this work reinforces the meaning and value of the family through solving the conflicts. Soyakran becomes more mature woman after she overcomes difficulties by Jikgeumdo that leads her husband home. Jingeomdo is a symbol of a woman's charm and capability to solve the problems. After all, Soyakranjikgeomda emphasizes on the meaning of the family, the role of Jikgeumdo and women who keep family safe.
