The Chinese internet population has seen a remarkable increase over the past several years. China's'. cn' has the second largest registrations over the all ccTLD in the world. Among the '.cn' registrations, the number of Korean registrants ranks the third place followed by China and US. It means that there is a high possibility of Korean '.cn' registrants to be interested parties to a domain name dispute procedure in China. With this background, this article aims to study the status quo and characteristics of domain name dispute resolution system in China. The major dispute resolution channels in China include the judicial system and alternative dispute resolution(ADR). For more in-depth study on this issue, this article focuses on Domain Name Dispute Resolution Center(DNDRC), which is responsible for providing ADR services in '.cn' domain name disputes(Chinese-character domain name inclusive) in China. The author tries to analysis DNDRC resolution system under the subjects of resolution proceeding. binding force of the panel report, the scope of application, the criteria for determining bad faith and reverse domain name hijacking. Conclusively, the author finds that ADR under the DNDRC regime has become the main channel for resolving domain name disputes, and its legal frame was set up in accordance with UDRP.
