명·청시기 중국 總圖의 계통과 유형 고찰

The Pedigree and Type of Chinese General Map during Ming and Qing Dynasties

중국 고지도의 분류에 있어서 전국 지도와 천하도의 개념을 명확히 구분하기가 어렵기 때문에 이 두 가지 개념을 포괄하여 總圖라 지칭했다. 본문은 지도 간의 상호 계승관계를 중심으로 명, 청 시기의 중국 총도를 세 종류의 계통으로 나누고, 각 계통을 세분화 하여 다시 몇 개의 하부 유형으로 나누었다. 混一圖, 廣輿圖, 皇輿全覽圖 계통이 바로 그것이다. 각 계통은 다시 제작연대와 내용, 제작방법에 따라 몇 종류의 하부 유형으로 나누었다. 본문의 주된 특징은 지금까지의 왕조중심으로 고지도 발달사의 시기를 구분하는 태도에서 벗어나 고지도 간의 상호관계를 중시하여 발전 과정에 따른 계통적 분류를 시도했다는 점이다.

This is an examination of the context and the pedigree of those maps which had been developed during the Ming and Qing Dynasty. This Thesis, from the perspective of history of chinese Cartography, divides those maps into three pedigree which are Honildo, Gwangyeodo, Hwangyeojenlamdo, according to the year, contents, concrete method of map production. Such old maps, even though they could be divided into several pedigrees and types, also have temporal continuity and the important relationship of the origin between the maps.
