The Impact Of Uncertainty Of Environment And Selection Of Management Strategy In Building Learning Organization And Performance

본 연구는 환경의 불확실성과 전략적 선택이 학습조직 구축과 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이에 따라 환경의 불확실성(복잡성, 역동성)과 경영전략(원가우위, 차별화, 글로벌화)의 추진정도를 독립변수로 설정하고, 이것들이 학습조직 구축과 더불어 경영성과(경제적, 조직적)에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 실증분석을 진행하였다. 연구에 사용된 표본은 한국의 주요기업 리스트에서 200개 기업을 임의로 선정하였으며, 총 200부의 배포된 설문 가운데 79부가 유효하였다. 연구결과, 환경의 역동성과 차별화전략의 추진정도가 학습조직 구축에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학습조직의 구축은 기업의 경제적 경영성과는 물론 조직적 경영성과 모두에 영향을 미치는 변수로서 유의하였다. 시사점으로는 다음의 세 가지가 있다. 첫째, 조직철학으로서의 학습조직 구축은 매우 유효한 전략수단이 될 수 있다. 둘째, 기업이 차별화전략과 글로벌화전략을 선택하는 경우 학습조직 구축을 더욱 필요로 하게된다. 셋째, 오늘날과 같은 환경에서 학습조직의 구축이 실제적인 경영성과로 연결될 가능성이 매우 높다.

This research covers above learning organizing and tried to find out correlation between management environment as well as the level of promoting management strategy and the level of constructing learning organization, also correlation between the level of constructing learning organization and organizational performance. Accordingly, This research treated uncertainty of environment such as dynamics and complexity and also the level of promoting organizational strategy such as cost leadership, differentiation, and globalization as a changing factor for the level of constructing learning organization, for which no prior research has been performed. To find out the effect of such independent variables on the level of constructing learning organization as well as how this learning organization actually affects organizational performance, factual analysis has been performed. The result shows that high level of dynamics, complexity of management environment and high promotion level differentiation, globalization among management strategy has a proportional relationship with the level of constructing learning organization, showing also high promotion value. However, no direct relationship was indicated between the level of promoting cost leadership and the level of constructing learning organization. Also, according to the regression analysis result, management environment dynamics and the level of promoting differentiation strategy were found to be decisive factors, which have the biggest effect on constructing learning organization. Finally, the limitations and implications were discussed.
