제7차 교육과정 중․고등학교 국사교과서의 고대 문화 관련 서술 검토

The purpose of this writing is to examine the ancient culture part of newly-revised middle and high school Korean history books and to indicate the complementary suggestions. First, the contents that deal with primitive religion is almost non-existent. Second, dubious narration causes another problem due to insufficient historical momentum in personality description. Third, the products of new studies are sparesely reflected. Fourth. it is suggestible that the Balhae literature should be comparatively discussed to the contemporary Shilla one. Fifth, the cultural interchange part between Korea, China and Japan of the Textbook should be written based on mutual grounds. The primary characteristics of the new textbook is its ample display of colour photos. However, the source of the picture in its description is not evident in many cases, as well as photos in duplication or in bad condition are also existing. In some cases, important plates are missing. In the future, the suggested improvements should include inserting newly-directed plates and complementing the explanation of plate materials.
