Three Directions of Kim, Du-Yong's Proletarian Literature Movement against ascism in the 1930's

This thesis developed on the basis of the understanding that the literary movement of Kim, Du-Yong could be divided into three movements since the mid-1930s. First, he contributed to the evolvement of the progressive national plays by his participation in Chosunyesulchua(朝鮮藝術座). Second, with regard to the acceptance of socialistic realism, he led the writing methodology in which the value of ideologies held a dominant position, while promoting the establishment of revolutionary realism in both Japan and Korea. Third, while proceeding with the project to unite the Chosunyesulchua and the Tokyo New Drama Club, he claimed that the proletarian literary circles should build a united front against anti-fascism through the cooperation of KAPF and Guinwhoe(九人會).
