There is an error in Seonamhwagueon(書南華卷, 서남화권), a poetry of a great Buddhist priest, Seosan quoted in Nanjeoh(亂啼烏, 난제오), the novel of Yi Gwangsu: a misdescription of frivolous fox(孽狐, 얼호), denoting Jangja(莊子, 장자) into half-blood tiger. This originated from the unconscious to protect Beophwagyung, which was likened as Jangja and criticized. Yi, in the face of the death of his son Bonggeun, started to seek for a world of faith joining life with death, on his way to which he met Beophwagyung, so he couldn't give up the faith at all. Yi's understanding of Beophwagyung, remaining in the incantation-level, was joined on toward following Naeseonilche. Yi stood on a logic that we, passing by the former life, this life and the future life, change over the position of a harmer and the injured, venting a retribution for the deeds of a former life, so we should answer “yes” to the present situation. According to this, the concern of Yi as a nationalist was being toward a time zone before thousand of years. It was a necessary means to show the high spirit of nation affirming the present. But the world should be no more than an illusion because Yi would infuse a nation-state concept of his day to make the past world. Moreover, considering that he followed Naeseonilche, he should have broken the world himself. On the basis of his contradiction, Yi's mechanism of error around Beophwagyung functioned secretly.
