Compilation and Publication of an Anthology of classical Prose and it's Significance in the late Chosŏn

논문은 조선시대에 편찬 간행된 고문선집들을 개괄하고, 특히 조선후기의 고문선집의 편찬 간행이 갖는 문학사적 의의를 짚어본다. 조선전기의 고문선집들은 대체로 중국의 문선집을 수입하여 그대로 다시 간행했던 데 반해, 조선후기에는 조선의 문인들이 독자적으로 고문선집을 편찬하기에 이른다. 조선후기에 주류를 이룬 산문비평론을 크게 구분하면 진한고문론과 당송고문론이라고 하겠는데, 고문선집의 성향도 편집자의 비평의식에 따라 각기 다른 특징을 갖고 있는 것으로 파악된다. 한편 고문선집의 경향을 통해 조선후기 산문비평의 흐름을 또 다른 측면에서 전망해 볼 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

This thesis generalize an anthology of classical prose that compiled and published in Chosŏn, and consider that's historical significance on literature. An anthology of classical prose that compiled and published in the early Chosŏn was republish Chinese anthology, but in the late a literary man compile from an independent point. The theory of prose that constituted the main current in the late Chosŏn was the theory of Jin-Han's classical prose and the theory of Dang-Sung's classical prose. Then an inclinations of an anthology of classical prose varied with a standpoint of compiler. On the other side, we hope for have view of flowing of the prose criticism from the current of an anthology of classical prose.
