Teaching method of Korean Vowels for Russian KFL learners

The purpose of this study is looking for the appropriate way to teach Korean Pronunciation for Russian Learners. As the first step of this study, it is focused on the pronunciation of Korean vowels. The numbers of vowel phonemes in Korean and in Russian don't correspond. Because of that, Russians have difficulties in pronouncing many phonemes properly. And the most important factor of preventing from Korean-like pronunciation is the accent in Russian language. The accent in Russian plays the role of distinctive feature between two same spelling words, and the other syllable around the accented are weakened. Under the influence of their language, Russians try to make one syllable prominently. To teach proper pronunciation to the Russian Learners, teachers must know their acoustic characteristics and guide them to pronounce each sound independently like as there is no accent.
