음운인식 프로그램이 조음음운장애유아의 음운인식능력과 조음오류개선에 미치는 효과

The Effects of an Auditory Phonological Awareness Training Program on Preschoolers with Articulation and Phonological Disorders

본 연구의 목적은 조음음운장애유아 10명을 대상으로 음운인식 프로그램을 적용하여 음운인식능력과 조음오류개선에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 부산지역 유치원에 다니는 만 5-6세 조음음운장애유아로서 (1) 표준화된 지능검사의 비언어성 지능검사지수가 80이상인 유아 (2) PRES검사결과 생활연령에 비해 수용언어는 6개월, 표현언어는 1년 이상 지체되지 않은 유아 (3) 발달장애, 감각장애, 정서장애, 조음기관이 구조적 장애 및 운동기능의 장애를 보이지 않으며 (4) U-TAP검사결과 2～3개 이상의 부정적 음운변동이 나타난 유아 (5) 구체적 음운인식훈련을 받은 경험이 없는 선정기준에 의해 선별되었다. 검사도구는 크게 지능검사, 조음오류검사(U-TAP검사), 음운인식능력검사로서, 본 자료에 수집된 자료는 각 검사의 채점기준에 근거하여 점수화한 후 백분율로 환산하여 단일집단대상 전후검사설계법을 적용하였다. 백은아 등(2004)의 연구를 본 연구에 맞게 재구성한 음운인식프로그램을 실시한 결과, 음운인식능력향상과 조음오류개선이 되었다. 음운인식능력은 음절체, 음절, 각운, 음절체-각운분리, 음소 순으로 향상되었으며, 변화의 폭은 가장 높은 순서로 음절체-각운분리, 음절, 음소, 각운, 음절체이다. 본 연구의 결론을 토대로 대상유아의 조음음운장애유형의 세분화와 폭넓고 다양한 연구가 이루어지길 제언한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a phonological awareness (PA) training program on preschool children with phonological articulation disorders. The experiment group (EG) consisted of a group of 10 children with phonological articulation disorders aged five and six. Data were collected before and after the PA training program was administered. The PA training program consisted of three parts and six steps. The results of this study were as follows. First, the EG made improvements in their PA abilities. Secondly, the consonant articulation accuracy of the EG improved. These results illustrate the importance of a PA program in teaching those who have phonological articulation disorders in early childhood.
