The educational learning system of the North Korean women : centering around the activity of North Korean women's alliance

이 글은 북한여성이 양성불평등의 지위 속에 사회노동과 가사노동 등 이중의 역할부담을 당연한 것으로 수용하고 있는 현실을 어떻게 이해하고, 그 요인이 무엇인지를 규명하기 위해 북한여성의 교양학습체계를 살펴보았다. 사상우위의 북한체제에서 사상교양학습은 주민을 국가가 원하는 구성원으로 만드는 사회화의 주요 수단이 되고 있어 북한여성의 교양학습은 당과 지도자에게 충성을 다하며 시기별 국가와 사회가 필요한 것들을 성실히 이행하는 여성을 만드는데 일차적인 목적을 두고 있었다. 이를 위해 북한여성의 교양학습은 지도자에 대한 충실성교양, 각종 난관에도 사회주의체제는 승리한다는 사회주의에 대한 신념과 혁명적 낙관주의의 사회주의 도덕교양, 대내외 적과의 투쟁의식을 강화하는 계급교양, 여성본연의 임무로 간주되는 전통적인 성역할 수행을 위한 교양 등의 내용을 보다 쉽고 효율적으로 이뤄지도록 대상별 특성에 맞는 방식으로 행해졌다. 결과 북한여성은 불평등한 지위 속에 이중역할부담을 당연한 것으로 수용하는 체제순응적인 멘탈리티를 지녀 경제난이후 실질적인 가장의 역할을 수행하면서도 가부장제적 질서유지에 저항의식을 보이지 않았던 것이다. 그러나 이 같은 현실도 북한주민들의 자본주의적인 생활방식과 의식이 확산되고 북한정권이 과거와 같은 권위와 정당성을 회복하기 어려운 상황이 지속된다면 점차 변화가 가해지지 않을 수 없게 될 것이다.

This paper examine the educational learning system of the North Korean women into figuring out that they have taken the double burden under the discriminatory social structure for granted and the cause of it. In North Korea, in which the ideology have been taken priority over all, a learning of thought education have been regarded as a means of socialization have made the North Korean members of the society, passive being who have to obey the dictation without condition. The educational learning system of the North Korean women aims to make a woman who successfully carry out multiple roles which the system of North Korea encourages or needs. In this respect, the main contents of educational learning system of the North Korean women is loyalty to the leader, socialistic morality, revolutionary optimism, women's traditional role, a class struggle, etc. As a result, the North Korean women have accepted their conditions without awareness having a double burden with social mobilization and coerced labor under the sexually repressive and discriminative social environment. Also this conformable mentality of North Korean women t is demonstrated that there was no shift in their awareness such as critical awareness and comprehensive denial over patriarchism while women's status and role were changing after the economic crisis.
