정신장애인 주보호제공자의 임파워먼트에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구

A Study on the Factors Impacting Main Caregiver Empowerment

본 연구는 정신장애인을 돌보는 주보호제공자의 임파워먼트에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 연구로 이를 위해 선행연구를 토대로 하여 정신장애인 관련 요인(기능수준, 유병기간, 입원횟수), 주보호제공자 개인적 요인(연령, 학력, 가족수입), 주보호제공자 관계적 요인(가족관계, 전문가 지지, 비공식적 지지)을 선정하였다. 서울, 경인, 광주, 전남 지역에서 정신보건센터와 사회복귀시설 중 이용시설을 이용하는 정신장애인을 돌보는 주보호제공자 385명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 연구결과, 주보호제공자의 임파워먼트에 영향력이 있는 변수는 가족관계, 주보호제공자의 학력, 가족수입, 전문가 지지, 비공식적 지지, 정신장애인의 입원횟수로 나타났으며 연구결과를 토대로 주보호제공자의 임파워먼트를 증진시키기 위한 사회복지 실천적 개입방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is identifying the factors influencing to main caregiver empowerment. The factors are as follows: factors related to mental disorders(functioning level, duration of mental disorders, the frequency of the hospitalization), individual background of main caregiver(age, school career, family income), family relationship, professional support, informal support. The subjects of this study are 385 main caregivers of mentally disordered persons in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Gwangju, Jeonnam and the results of this study are as follows: In the final regression model, statistically significant factors influencing to main caregiver empowerment are family relationship, school career and family income of main caregiver, professional support, informal support, the frequency of the hospitalization of mentally disordered person. And comprehensive interventions for improving main caregiver empowerment are recommend.
