A Study on the Adoption Factor of SWB and e-SWB

SWB은 선화증권의 위기를 해결하는 대안으로서 사용되고 있다. 운송인은 해상운송장이 유통불능 서류이고 수화인은 물품의 인도를 위해 운송인에게 제시할 필요가 없기 때문에 많이 운송장을 발행하고 있다. 이것이 선환증권의 위기문제를 해결하는 핵심인 것이다. 최근 연구와 조사에 의하면 SWB의 확산은 점차로 뚜렷하게 일어나고 있다. 본 연구는 급속하게 확산하고 있는 SWB는 이유와 주된 요소들을 설문 조사를 수행하여 명백하게 설명하였다. 또한, 나가누마의 논문(2004)에서 충분히 논의되지 못하였던 SWB의 보급과 “전자 무역”과의 관계를 분석하였다. 따라서 “거래 의존성”, “최고경영자 관리”, “호환성”, 그리고 “경쟁 압력”이 주요 채택 요소로 판명되었다. 또한, “거래 의존성”의 점수는 그러한 요인 중에 높게 나타났다. 이 결과는 나가누마의 논문(2004)과 일치하는 부분이며 SWB의 확산에 관해서는 그것이 일정 부분에 있어 “국제 무역에서의 전자상거래”의 발달에 영향을 미치는 것이 명백해졌다.

Sea Waybill has been used as an alternative method which solves the B/L crisis. The carrier has increasingly issued Sea Waybill as a transport documents, because it is a non-negotiable document and the consignee does not need to present it to carrier for delivery of goods. That is a point that it solves the B/L crisis. The diffusion of the SWB(Sea-Waybill) has risen gradually like being clarified by the recent research and the investigation. In this paper, the reasons and primary factors for the rapid spread of SWB are clearly illustrated by making use of a questionnaire survey executed. In addition, the relationship between prevalence of SWB and “e-trade” is analyzed, which is not sufficiently examined in Naganuma (2004). Consequently, “Dependency of dealings”, “Top management”, “Compatibility”, and “Competitive pressures” turned into the primary adoption factor. Also, the score of “Dependency of dealings” was very high of them. This result agree with the findings in Naganuma (2004). Furthermore, as for spread of SWB, it became clear that it affects the development of “e-commerce in the international trade” to some extent.
