일본 특별지원교육의 주요 내용과 시사점

The Main Contents and Suggestions of Special Needs Education in Japan

본 연구는 한국과 일본의 특수교육 현황을 살펴보고, 일본의 특별지원 교육의 의의와 주요 내용을 중심으로 한국 특수교육에 주는 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 일본의 특별지원교육은 장애가 있는 학생의 자립과 사회 참여를 위해 주체적인 대책을 지원한다는 관점에서 학생 개개인의 교육 수요를 파악하고, 생활과 학습에 어려움을 개선하거나 극복하기 위해 적절한 지도와 필요한 지원을 실시하고 있다. 이러한 일본의 특별지원교육의 주요 내용과 특징은 특별한 교육수요에 부응하면서 개개인의 능력과 가능성을 최대한 신장시키는 차원에서 관련기관간의 유기적 협력, 장단기 정책의 폭넓은 의견수렴 과정을 거치면서 학생 개개인의 특별한 교육적 요구의 특별지원교육으로서 그 시사점을 찾을 수 있다.

The study explored the current situations of special education in Korea and Japan and tried to draw suggestions for us focusing on the significance and main contents of special needs education in Japan. The special needs education is providing useful guidance and necessary support for revising and eliminating the difficulty of his/her life and learning after surveying the student's educational needs with a perspective that the education provides the student with disabilities with self-support and social participation. The special needs education tries to match with special educational needs and promote the student with disabilities's ability and possibility. For this, it cooperates with related institute significantly and collects various opinions about short and long policy. These processes give some suggestions that it is a special needs education for the special educational needs of the individual student.
