A case of Central pontine myelinolysis accompanied with medullary invasion

저자들은 혼미한 의식 상태, 호흡 곤란, 안구의 불수의적 운동을 주소로 외부 병원에서 전원된 환아에서 연수 침범이 동반된 중앙교탈수초중 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고 하는 바이다.

About 10% of cases of central pontine myelinolysis are associated with extrapontine lesions in the medulla, spinal cord, basal ganglia, cerebellum, cerebral cortex, thalamus. We experienced a case of central pontine myelinolysis accompanied with medullary invasion who had been transfered from a local hospital presented with stuporous mental state, respiratory difficulty, abnormal eyeball and eyelid movements. Rare to diagnose central pontine myelinolysis with medullary invasion during one's life time, we report the case with the brief review of the literature.
