A Study on the Effects of 3PLs' Utilization of Logistics Information Technology on the Logistics Performance

다국적 기업의 글로벌화로 제3자 물류서비스 아웃소싱이 증대되면서, 기업들은 경쟁력 원천으로 물류에 대한 중요성을 더욱 인식하게 되었다. 비용절감과 물류서비스 질의 향상을 위한 기업의 경쟁력 강화의 핵심 도구로서 물류정보기술에 대한 인식이 증가함에 따라, 물류정보기술은 물류관리에서 더욱 중요해지고 있으며, 물류기업들의 경쟁에 있어 필수적인 요소가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 최근까지 급속하게 변화하는 국제물류의 환경변화에 따른 글로벌 물류업체의 글로벌 경영전략 현황을 살펴보고, 글로벌 경영전략의 이론적 배경과 모델을 통해 구체적인 전략을 제시하여, 국재 제3자 물류기업의 글로벌 경영전략의 수립, 글로벌와 촉진에 기여하는데 있다.

Increased globalization by multinational corporations has prompted consideration of outsourcing logistics service to third party logistics firms, which increased recognition of logistics as a source of potential competitive advantage by companies. With the increasing recognition of logistics information technology as a core tool in enhancing their competitiveness while saving cost and upgrading logistics service quality, logistics information technology is essential to most logistics industry. The objective of this paper is to contribute to the globalization of domestic third party logistics company by providing literature necessary to determine the benchmarking model for globalization by graspinf the present situation and establishing strategy through comparative analysis of domestic third party logistics company and global third party logistics company.
