부산 주요수출산업들의 산업내 생산단계별 특화구조에 관한 실증분석

Intraindustry Specialization Structure by Production Stages in the Busan's Major Exporting Industries

본 연구주제는 한⋅중⋅일 국제분업구조라는 관점에서 부산 수출산업의 생산단계별 분업패턴과 한⋅중⋅일 산업내 삼각분업패턴을 분석함으로써 부산 산업의 무역구조적 특징을 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 분석을 통해 얻을 수 있는 결과는 부산의 수출산업들이 최종재 부문에서 이미 중국에 압도당하고 있거나 중국 및 일본과의 심각한 경쟁국면에 놓여 있고, 중간재 부문에서도 소수의 산업을 제외한다면 상황은 최종재 부문과 유사하다는 것이다. 한편, 한⋅중⋅일 사이의 산업내 삼각분업은 목적시장이 역내인지 또는 역외인지에 따라 그 특징을 달리 하고 있다. 역내시장을 대상으로 하는 3국간의 산업내 삼각분업에서는 최종생산지로서 일본이 가장 많이 활용되고 있었고 역외의 여타 시장을 대상으로 하는 경우에는 중국이 유력한 최종재 생산지로 나타났다. 특히, 후자는 부산의 수출산업이 더 이상 세계시장을 목적시장으로 하는 조립생산형 산업구조로서 경쟁력을 가지기 어렵고 나아가 동북아시아 지역의 조립생산구조가 중국을 중심으로 형성되어 있음을 암시하는 결과라고 할 수 있다.

This study explores the industrial export-import structure by production stages in Busan. In order to reflect the characteristics of the East Asian production structure, we conducted a broad-ranging analysis upon developing international competitiveness two-dimensionally by setting intermediate goods and final goods as the axes. One of the findings in this report is that Busan has fallen international competitiveness in almost all final goods sector and gradually losing competitiveness in many of intermediate goods. Given the balance of its industry structures and the dynamic changes taking place, it is evident that Busan's trade structure lies between those of Japan and China in terms of international competitiveness.
