A Study on the Entry Strategy of Korean Logistics Firms into China

The purpose of this paper are to analyze the present status of logistics in China and present implications to the related Korean logistics firms. As the economic volume and trade in North-east Asia have increased. China's logistics industry has entered a stage of fast growth and the demand of logistics infrastructure Korea which is trying to be a logistics hub in Northeast Asia has to pay attention to the logistics of China. Several international logistics rated firms are already expanding their presence in china to take advantage of these opportunities and to broaden the focus of their business. Trade enlargement between Korea and China may be advantage to enterprise. Advantage of our country reduces distribution cost and transport period with railroad transport that pass China and Korea. This paper provides the basic information for enhancing global logistics to logistics firms and the Korean government respectively. Korean government also have to help Korean logistics firms by providing policy incentives. Korean Logistics firms analyze problem of China` policy and will have to cope political change spontaneously.
