울산 반구대 암각화의 조형성과 디지털 프린팅을 통한 일상적 활용모델 연구

Study on Ulsan Bangudae Petroglyph regarding Pictorial Composition and their Practical Models by Using Digital Printing

울산광역시 울주군 언양읍 대곡리 234-1에 소재한 반구대 암각화는 대한민국 국보 285호로 지정된 한국의 선사시대 문화 연구의 단계를 넘어 세계 암각화 연구의 중요한 자료이다. 소중한 유적에 대한 관심을 환기시키고 일상에서 향수하며 창의력을 증진시키는 미술교육에 활용할 수 있도록 반구대 암각화의 조형적 특성과 예술성을 고찰한다. 예술성이 높은 반구대 암각화 이미지는 포토샵 프로그램을 사용하여 이미지를 재구성하고 이를 스포츠 타월, 넥타이, 스카프, 손수건에 적용하도록 디자인한다. 이는 디지털 프린팅을 통하여 생활용품으로 제작하여 일상적 삶에서 사용 가능한 디자인들이다. 그리하여 전통 유적의 예술성과 가치를 직접 체험하고, 한국의 역사적 유적에 대한 이해와 자긍심을 높이며 국제적으로 한국 암각화에 대한 인식과 의의를 환기시킨다. 전통 문화의 조형성을 통하여 현대적 활용 가능성을 제시하며 창의성을 증진하는 미술 교육 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 타당성과 가능성을 모색한다.

Bangudae Petroglyph, located in Ulsan Metropolitan City Uljoogun Daegock-Ri 234-1 and designated as Korean National Treasure no.285, is the important source for studying prehistoric culture as historical and cultural heritage of the world and Korean petroglyph as well. This study attempts to evokes attention to the precious historical vestiges, letting people appreciate them in their daily lives. In addition, it examines the composing and artistic traits of the Bangudae petroglyph to utilize in the art education developing creativity. After considering its composition, the images derived from the petroglyph are reconstructed with photoshop programs and the reconstructed images are employed to design daily necessaries, for example necktie, scarf, handkerchief, etc. In this study, providing those useful models, recognition and meaning of Korean petroglyph are internationally reminded. Moreover, historical traditional relics can be experienced as well as be enhanced the understanding and self-esteem about Korean culture. With studying traditional composition, this thesis probes potentialities to modernistic use and pursues validity and possibility to apply art education improving originality.
