A Study on the Comparison between Korean and Jewish Business Management Culture

Even though it is well known that the Jewish have excellent business abilities, we do not know much about the original background and reason for this. Thus, this study examines the economical achievements and the secret of such successes of the Jewish in terms of the ethnical, religious and historical development process, and also compares and analyzes it with the management cultural characteristics of Korea. Jewish and Korean people have many differences in their history and national culture, and at the same time they have many common characteristics. Thus, it seems necessary for Korea, which now stands at the crossroads of creating an advanced corporate management culture in the 21st century, to understand such cultural differences and supplement its weakness.
