These experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of temperature on predation of Amblyseius fallacis (Garman) as a predator of tea red spider mite. Tetranychus kanzawai Kishida. The predation rate of prey eggs by all motile stages of A. fallacis generally increased as temperature was raised from 17 to 30˚C. Larva, protonymph, deutonymph. female during preoviposition, female during oviposition and female during postoviposition of A. fallacis consumed 1.7, 2.9, 5.3, 10.9, 18.1 and 6.7 eggs of T. kanzawai per day at 30˚C, respectively. The gravid female of A. fallacis was more efficient predator stage than the other predatory stages.
