In the transitional period of multinational culture the arrangement of letter language is an urgent problem, and it also needed to be studied as a core study in the early stage of sucdeeding the transitional tea culture. The letter '茶(tea)' is written or read as '다(tha)' or '차(ch'a)', the leter '차' can be regarded as a pure Korean as a 'borrowed word' which was introduced from China where tea oringinated or a 'borrowed word' which was introduced from China where tea oringinated or a 'naturalized word' which comes within the category of a proper word, and the letter '다' comes within the category of a translated sound of the Chainese character. When used as a pure Korean the letter '차' is used, and when used as a mixed word of Chinese character and Korean or in the sound of Chinese character the letters '차' and '다' are used mixed or Inly the letter '다' is used. But when examinded according to the Korean language and literature regulation, when the letter is used as a noun such as the name of tea, the designation of a tea vessel, and so on, or when it is directly related with tea it is written aan read as '차', and when it is used as a verb it written and read as '다' are used mixed. Under the premise that the accustomed common expresdions cannot be changed easily, the sound and speling related with tea should be used as the letter '차' ax much as possible. If he is a tea man who tries to succeed and develop the traditional tea culture, he should have the attitude of practicing for the fixation and habituation of the terms of tea with the senese of mission.
