This thesis reports the study of tea culture of woman in Chosun Dynasty by analysing poets of women, and Kyuhapchongseo, and document about Damo(the woman who serves tea), and folk songs. Among the poetess, four of them were Sunbi-the classical scholar- five were Pyungmin-the commons. In their poets, Yangban enjoyed tea with music and books and Pyungmin enjoyed tea with their colleague, having alcohol. Kyuhapchongseo-a book written by Mrs. Lee- describes several kind of tea, and snack, and tea things, and tea culture of Chosun Dynasty. It also possesses different usage of tea, such as vermicide. At that time, there was a job Damo, which serves tea in the picture. It chows tea was very popularly through Chosun Dynasty. In folk songs, it also describes the origin of tea and where it was used, such as wedding gift and memorial service. In conclusion, it has been thoughts that the tea was popular among man specially the classical scholar; however, it was also common to woman regardless of their class.
